Summer Camp
The summer youth camp, held as part of the summer vacation program, helped achieve several goals at once: increased physical activity, healthy eating, the encouragement of individual interests, and the development of a sense of teamwork.
The summer youth camp featured group sports activities that strengthened group dynamics and team spirit, promoted physical and mental well-being, and provided a healthy balance. In addition, participants had the opportunity to try out various sports—from soccer and handball to volleyball, badminton, (table) tennis, and basketball. This diverse range of activities and the participants’ enthusiasm for them are reflected in the evaluation, as the participants, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, were full of energy that they could channel into this camp—making it a complete success. In addition to the sports activities, festivals, night hikes, and city trips were also offered. One highlight among many was the big closing barbecue party, which underscored the success of this program. The participants were consistently happy with the wide range of opportunities and the positive atmosphere, as revealed by the evaluation through reflection forms.
