In Turkey and Syria, more than 6,000 people lost their lives on Monday morning, February 6, 2023, at around 4:17 a.m. as a result of two powerful earthquakes. Several thousand people were injured, and many are still believed to be trapped in the rubble. Many of those affected have been left homeless and are forced to spend time outdoors in sometimes freezing and stormy winter weather.
The Mindeltal School Community would like to support the fundraising campaign organized by the charitable organization Time to Help e.V., which has been providing humanitarian aid in various crisis-stricken areas for many years. A donation account has now been set up to help those affected on the ground!
